A popular Show attraction returns in 2012, conducted 4-times daily 11:00a, 1:00p, 3:00p, 5:30p—participate in this hands-on workshop where industry professionals teach you techniques and insight on creating your own containers. Workshop fee: $20. Participants take home their creation to enjoy.
Michael Gaffney teaches flower design from the ground up. Learn from the master and you, too, could become a designer. Michael’s work includes flowers for film ,television, runway and magazines. He recently opened Macys Flower Show on Herald Square in NYC and designed flowers for last years Oscar winner Black Swan..and author of the new book Design Star : Lessons from the New York School of Flower Design
Michael will be leading floral design demonstrations daily at 12:30 p.m. (20/B).

Green roofing is an excellent way to bring nature into our urban environment. During this demonstration, you will learn how a green roof is constructed from the waterproofing up. We'll discuss the step-by-step considerations for each project. Plus, bring your own project ideas for the coming spring, and you will have the opportunity to get expert advice from Molly on planning, carrying out and maintaining your own projects.
