Evening in Bloom offers a relaxed, inaugural look at the annual Chicago Flower & Garden Show, presented by Mariano's with proceeds benefitting local charities.  When purchasing your tickets you may designate a portion of your proceeds to benefit one of the event’s beneficiaries: Alzheimer's Association, Illinois Fire Chiefs Association and Peterson Garden Project.

Alzheimer's Association - The mission of the Alzheimer's Association is to eliminate Alzheimer's through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's disease.


Illinois Fire Chiefs Association - The Illinois Fire Chiefs Association Educational and Research Foundation was established in 1978 by the Illinois Fire Chiefs’ Association for the identification, investigation, and problem solving of fire related matters within the State.  Specifically, this Foundation was created to conduct and support research into technical, life safety, and scientific problems confronting the Fire Service; research and develop managerial and personnel systems; conduct training and educational programs for governmental and fire service entities; and, provide scholarships and grants to students, educational institutions, and municipal fire departments for undergraduate, post-graduate, and vocational education and training within the field of the Fire Service.  As a “not-for-profit” corporation, individuals, corporate gifts, and the Fire Service of the State of Illinois fund the Foundation.


Peterson Garden Project - Peterson Garden Project is a nonprofit educational organization looking to inspire everyone to grow and cook their own food. Pop-up Victory Gardens, a Community Cooking School and extensive educational resources help anyone learn the lifelong skills of organic food gardening and cooking which can strengthen families and communities for generations to come.
