Chef Assistants will be working on the Garden Gourmet cooking stage acting as sous chefs for participating chefs.
There are 4 demonstration spots per day and each assistant’s time will be split between food preparation, sample distribution, and clean up.    

Badge Assistants will be working in the Badge Kiosk/Show Office acting as customer service representatives to our Exhibitors. Exhibitors will check in and pick up their badges every morning and return them at the end of the day. Badge Assistants will work on retrieving each Exhibitors badges and making the process run smoothly.

Group Tour Assistants will be working in the Navy Pier lobby acting as customer service representatives to the Groups arriving by bus for the Flower & Garden Show. Mainly they will be greeting customers and checking in groups, giving them their assigned ticket packet and assisting with any other questions.

Potting Party Assistants will be working in the Teaching Garden by assisting the Master Gardener leading the Potting Party class. Duties can include making sure each student has a clean workplace and the supplies they need to create their arrangement.

Information Assistants will be working in one of two Information Kiosks on the Show floor.  Duties will primarily consist of answering questions about the Show and Navy Pier.  However, they may also include data entry and tabulating for the Seminars as needed.
