Wednesday, July 25 through Sunday, July 29, on the Lake County Fairgrounds, in Grayslake, IL.

FEATURED GARDENS
With its "Hort Couture" theme, the show's 25-plus gardens will draw inspiration from textures and colors found in plants and fabrics, as well as alluring and beautiful elements found in nature.
LAKE COUNTY FAIR
Join the Chicago Flower & Garden Show at the 2012 Lake County Fair! For the first time, enjoy the Show outdoors with special in-ground feature gardens and a "Mini"-Marketplace.

GARDEN GOURMET
Held three times daily, these culinary demonstrations feature 36 top Chicago chefs sharing their expertise on creating sumptuous dishes using natural and home-grown ingredients.
SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
Top horticulture experts and professionals from academia, business and garden centers are among the bevy of experts who will share insights at free seminars held daily. Topics range from landscaping, annuals and perennials to planting techniques, organic gardening and much more.
KID'S ACTIVITY GARDEN
It's a playground and more at this garden for youngsters that debuted in 2009. It will be back even bigger and better in 2012 with fun-filled green activities.
PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Individuals, as well as garden clubs and businesses, will compete to demonstrate their passion for horticulture in two categories: Window Boxes and Photography. Juried before the show opening, winners will be on display throughout the show's 9-day run.
